ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Michigan quarterback JJ McCarthy has declared for the 2024 NFL Draft, the university announced on Monday.
McCarthy, a redshirt sophomore, led the Wolverines to a 13-1 record and the College Football Playoff National Championship in the 2023 season. He threw for 3,323 yards, 28 touchdowns, and five interceptions while completing 66.8% of his passes.
McCarthy finished his career at Michigan with a 27-1 record as the starting quarterback, the third-best winning percentage by a quarterback in college football history.
